The new issue of “Odbrana” was published
The prominent diplomat and expert in energy development and security Dr. Srecko Djukic speaks for “Odbrana” about the necessity of “Debalkanization of conscience” of the Balkan nations, about “energy race” and “resources war” between the West and East, proving that energy potentials can and should calm passions, and not to result in wars and conflicts.
On the pages of the new issue of our magazine you can find the record of the multipurpose exercise “Steel 2017”, organized on the occasion of marking the 9th May - the Day of the Serbian Armed Forces, Victory and Europe. Participants of the exercise demonstrated capabilities, as well as the reached level of development of the Serbian armament and defence equipment. The rarely seen display at the Technical Test Centre for testing armament and defence equipment in Nikinci was marked by firing live ammunition from more than 20 systems of the armament – infantry armament, artillery-missile systems, tanks, multipurpose armoured vehicles, planes and helicopters, the engagement of members of the Serbian Armed Forces Special Brigade and special units of the Ministry of the Interior.In the new issue of the military magazine you can read about Staff Sergeant Darko Djordjevic from the 224th Electronic Warfare Centre, the participant of the TV quiz “Super people”, marking the Day of the Guard, active reserve of the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as the Bay of Pigs Invasion.
Our famous herald Dragomir Acovic confirms that a symbol is more stable than a man. He says for the Society section in “Odbrana” that moral crisis exists in the entire world and we should not worry about the one in our country. We are not in the crisis due to our merit, intelligence or lack of it. It has much deeper root and wider scope. It affects us peripherally because we are a small nation, which becomes more and more obsessed by the knowledge of personal weakness.
