The Assistant Minister for Defence Policy at the Security Forum “To be Secure (2BS)”
The Acting Assistant Minister of Defence for Defence Policy Milan Mojsilovic participated in the 7th Security Forum „To be Secure (2BS)“ held under the title “The challenges of changing politics and shifting alliances” in Budva. The Forum was opened by Dr. Savo Kentera, President of the Atlantic Council, Montenegro, Mr. Hoyt B. Yee, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, USA and Mr. Dusko Markovic, Prime Minister, Government of Montenegro.
The activity was organized under the auspices of the Government of Montenegro in cooperation with the NATO, the US Embassy in Podgorica and the Balkan Trust for Democracy. During the Forum the participants exchanged views on the effect of global international relations on the South Eastern Europe region.
During the Forum talks were held about the current regional and global security issues, foreign policy challenges, consequences of the migrant crisis, ways to fight against terrorism, as well as the current topics which characterize and develop international relations and thus the future of Europe.
The bilateral meeting of the Acting Assistant Minister of Defence for Defence Policy Milan Mojsilovic and the Acting Director of the Foreign Policy Directorate of the Montenegrin Ministry of Defence Ivica Ivanovic, MA, was held on the sidelines of the Forum. On this occasion the interlocutors talked about the bilateral defence cooperation.
