Reports of commissions and Inspectorate about Super Galeb G-4 crash presented




 
The reports of the commissions formed by the Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff and the Air Force and Air Defence Commander tasked with determining the circumstances of the emergency, as well as the report of the Defence Inspectorate, were presented today to the Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic.
 
Представљени извештаји комисија и Инспектората о паду авиона „Супер галеб Г-4“ The Minister was informed about the content of the reports by Director of the Defence Inspectorate Major General Goran Radovanovic, PhD, Head of the Operations Department of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Brigadier General Dusko Zarkovic and Lieutenant Colonel Milan Jelic from the Air Force and Air Defence Command.
 
“The Ministry of Defence fully cooperates with competent investigating authorities in relation to Super Galeb G-4 crash”, the Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic emphasized. Mr. Djordjevic said that the Ministry of Defence would submit the reports to the competent prosecutor by the order of prosecutor’s office.
 
Immediately after the crash of the trainer-fighter “Super Galeb G-4” of the Air Force and Air Defence, within his competence, the Defence Minister has tasked the Defence Inspectorate with conducting the inspection.
 
The Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff has formed the Commission tasked with determining the circumstances of the emergency. Moreover, the Air Force and Air Defence Commander has formed ex officio an expert commission for basic investigation of the crash on determining the causes and circumstances of the aircraft accident.
 
The plane “Super Galeb G-4” crashed on the 7th April 2017 during a routine training flight around Sabac. On this occasion Lieutenant Colonel Nenad Culibrk from the Air Force and Air Defence Command and Captain Dejan Pandurovic from the 252nd Training Squadron of the 204th Air Force Brigade lost their lives.
