Analysis of operational and functional capabilities of SAF in 2016
The regular annual analysis of operational and functional capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces in 2016 was carried out today in the House of Guard in Topcider.
The analysis was attended by the Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic, the Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic, and members of the Boards of the Minister of Defence and the Chief of General Staff.
The analysis included a review of the Serbian Armed Forces work results in 2016, achievements in the enhancement of operational and functional capabilities, capabilities of the Army, Air Force and Air Defence, Training Command and the Serbian Armed Forces as a whole for the execution of the assigned missions, and other issues affecting the maintenance and development of capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.
It was concluded that operational and functional capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces in 2016 reached a higher level and the perspective of the further enhancement of capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces in 2017 were defined. Moreover, the concrete tasks for the improvement of the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces in 2017 were also defined.
After the analysis today, there was a display of weapons and equipment of the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as the latest headlines of the publishing activities of the Media Centre “Odbrana”.
