Honorary Salvo on the occasion of the Serbian Armed Forces Day
By the order of the President of the Republic Tomislav Nikolic, in the presence of a great number of citizens, an honorary salvo of ten volleys from six pieces of artillery on the occasion of the Serbian Armed Forces Day has been fired at the Sava promenade of Kalemegdan.
The honorary salvo was preceded by ceremonial raising the national flag with the anthem of Serbia “Boze pravde” and “The March on the Drina” performed by the Representative Orchestra of the Guard.
On behalf of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff the honorary salvo was attended by the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Command Major General Slavoljub Janicijevic and the Commander of the Guard Major General Milomir Todorovic.
