To all members of the Serbian Armed Forces I extend congratulations on the occasion of the 23rd April – the Day of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The Serbian Armed Forces Day has the special importance in the national history and represents the permanent source and inspiration for the Serbian nation and our Armed Forces. The historic and traditional connection in establishing the modern Serbian state and the Armed Forces is unavoidably confirmation of new cultural and traditional values.
Despite complex working conditions, this year the members of the Serbian Armed Forces have executed numerous set tasks, achieved outstanding results in training and managed to maintain the required level of operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces. Following the centuries long tradition of the Serbian Armed Forces, the members of the Serbian Armed Forces give great contribution to the prosperity of our country and its citizens and give full support to strengthening peace, security and stabilization in the region, as well as the full inclusion of our country in European integration.
I congratulate you on the greatest military holiday convinced that the Serbian Armed Forces will continue the initiated reforms and modernization of the military organization, which has already been done this year with success and that they will be ready to professionally respond to all forthcoming challenges.

To all members of the Serbian Armed Forces I extend congratulations on the occasion of the 23rd April – the Day of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The 23rd April is of utter importance to the Republic of Serbia and the Armed Forces in preserving the national identity and continuity of the statehood of the Serbian nation lasting more than two centuries. It is celebrated as the greatest military holiday in memory of the Takovo Uprising.
The Serbian Armed Forces have achieved outstanding results in establishing, developing and training our units by professional execution of the assigned tasks respecting the traditional and implementing new values following the example of other modern armed forces in Europe and the world.
I congratulate you on your holiday wishing that you continue with the successful results in the following period, being an active security factor in the country and region, which will lead the Republic of Serbia to prosperity and better future, convinced that in the following period you will professionally execute all set tasks and fulfill forthcoming obligations.
