Defence Minister in an unannounced visit to the MMA
The Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic has paid an unannounced visit to the Military Medical Academy today in order to gain an insight into the taken measures after the previous, also unannounced visit. Djordjevic accompanied by the Acting Head of the MMA Colonel Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljevic visited the Specialist Outpatient Clinic, the Pediatrics Outpatient Clinic, the Clinic for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as the Pharmacy.
During the visit, the Defence Minister met with patients and medical personnel to hear whether patients were content with the rendered treatment in this prestigious military medical institution.
Expressing contentment with the existing situation in the MMA, the Defence Minister stressed that the measures taken by the Ministry of Defense to improve the working conditions provide the first positive results.
“The Ministry of Defense will continue, in cooperation with the MMA, to improve the quality of health care services, both for military personnel and civilians” Minister Djordjevic said and added that he would continue to pay unannounced visits to the institutions within the defence system.
