Public finance in defence system course
The fifth “Public finance in defence system course” organized by the Military Academy – Finance Department and supported by the Budget and Finance Sector, started today at the Military Academy.
During the opening of the course, the Head of the Budget Department Colonel Sasa Trandafilovic, PhD, emphasized the importance of permanent professional development of financial service personnel in the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces and expressed contentment with the fact that two internal auditors are attending the course.“The defence system recognizes the importance and role of financial service, which shifts focus from traditional financial reports to modern financial management with the clear aim to render assistance and support to decision makers in finding rational, efficient and effective solutions in more complex conditions of restricted resources”, Colonel Trandafilovic stressed.
The course programme includes the system of financial service in the public sector of Serbia, finance planning in the Serbian Armed Forces, economic analysis of integral personnel planning in the Serbian Armed Forces, financial control and audit, financial operations of budget beneficiaries, salaries and benefits in the public sector.
93 participants of financial service have successfully completed the course so far.
