Condolences and Assistance of the United States of America



The Embassy of the United States of America in Belgrade extended condolences to the citizens of Serbia on the occasion of tragic events in the Technical Overhaul Facility in Kragujevac.
 
Upon request by the Embassy, the US Government sent two experts for post-explosion situations to the Technical Overhaul Facility in Kragujevac. The two member team arrived in Serbia on 2nd March. They will examine the explosion site, give technical guidelines and actively participate in clearing operations, for the purpose of preventing further loss of property. Since 2008, the said team of experts has been engaged in more than 15 countries, including the engagement in Serbia in 2014.
