Members of the Serbian Armed Forces at the Exercise “Platinum Eagle 17.1” in Romania
Infantry platoon of the Army First Brigade took part in the exercise “Platinum Eagle 17.1” which was conducted from 20th February to 2nd March in Romania.
The exercise, which involved some 500 participants of the armed forces from eight countries, was executed in the Second Centre for Combat Training “Smardan” in Galati district.
Apart from the members of the Serbian Armed Forces and the host, the Armed Forces of Romania, the exercise gathered the members of the Armed Forces of Bulgaria, Macedonia, US, Slovenia, Ukraine and Montenegro.
The aim of the multinational exercise was to increase mutual understanding and interoperability of the units participating in the exercises in the framework of operations at tactical level.
