I take this opportunity to congratulate 5th March – the Service Day. Following on the tradition which is almost a century and half long, and owing to highly educated and processional personnel, good human potential, modernisation of the system of collecting and processing the data and the application of European standards, you have demonstrated, in the previous period, full necessity and justifiability of the existence of the Intelligence service.
Wishing that you continue resolving, with the same success, the challenges ahead of you thus ensuring the stability of defence system of the Republic of Serbia, I congratulate you on your holiday.
Congratulatory Message on the Occasion of the Day of Military Intelligence Agency
To all the members of the Military Intelligence Agency I extend sincere congratulations on the occasion of 5th March – the Day of the Agency.
Professionally discharging assigned tasks, you have demonstrated that you are a key element of the intelligence-security system, of both the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces and the Republic of Serbia. You have continued the tradition of the Foreign Section which started in 1844 when an organisational unit of the Armed Forces was established tasked to deal exclusively with military intelligence activities.
I congratulate this holiday to you, confident that you will in the period to come further enhance the work of the Agency and I wish you a lot of success in that endeavour.
