The Search for the Missing Still On going
In front of the Clinical Centre in Kragujevac, Colonel Mihajlo Zogović from Department for Public Relations stated that competent services of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Defence were still intensively searching for the missing members of the Technical Overhaul Facility, Captain Darko Kostić, and civilians Dejan Kovačević and Željko Nikolić.
- Four drones are flying over the area of explosion and one robot vehicle is also used in the search. The Minister of Defence with his associates is currently at the scene in the Technical Overhaul Facility. The total of 74 employees, who are currently in a separate building of the Technical Overhaul Facility, are safe and beyond any danger – emphasised Colonel Zogović adding that an evaluation by competent services was expected upon which the employees would be safely transport to their homes.
According to the words of Colonel Zogović, 25 hospitalised members of the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Interior were well and not critically injured, while two of the members were at that moment being transported to the Military Medical Academy, after the joint estimation of the doctors of the two medical centres.
- Once again, on behalf of all the members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces, I extend deepest condolences and sympathy for the death of our colleague Colonel Perišić. We are all grief stricken since he was an honourable officer who set an example to others by his diligence, hard work and engagement – said Colonel Zogović.
