Visit by Representatives of the French Institute for High National Defence Studies
The representatives of the French Institute for High National Defence Studies are staying in our country in the framework of their study trip and today, they visited the barracks “Major Milan Tepić” in Jakovo, where they saw 2nd Rocket Battalion of 250th AD Rocket Brigade.
Acting Commander of 250th AD Rocket Brigade, Colonel Milan Popović, with his associates informed the students of the French Institute about the history and mission of the unit, stressing that the unit is quite often visited by foreign delegations because of its specific nature and achievements during the War of 1999.
The representatives of the French Institute for High National Defence Studies were mostly interested in the assets used by the unit and their modernisation, training and advancement of the unit members, and in the cooperation with other armed forces of the world.
In the framework of today’s visit, the guests from France, had an opportunity to attend a demonstration of the unit’s capabilities, and to see a display of the assets used in 2nd Rocket Battalion of 250th Rocket Brigade.
