Congratulatory Message by the Minister of Defence on the Occasion of the IT Service Day
I extend most cordial congratulations to all the member of the IT Service on the occasion of the 21st February – the Service Day.
Following the tradition of the established Centre for Data Processing, lasting more than five decades, you have achieved noted results in the strengthening of the IT service and to a large extent contributed to the enhancement of operational and functional capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces and Ministry of Defence.
New demands imply a constant upgrade of command and information system and its modernisation. As members of one of the youngest services of the Serbian Armed Forces, last year you demonstrated that the functioning of your service could not be imagined without good IT equipment and qualified personnel.
I extend my congratulations on the occasion of your holiday and I wish you that you continue successfully discharging the tasks assigned.
