Minister of Defence with representatives of the World Bank



Minister of Defence Zoran Đorđević spoke today with a consultant of the World Bank, William Isaacs, on cooperation with that financial institution and the support that it provides to the Serbian Government in the implementation of its programme as well as the definition, monitoring and implementation of the priority objectives defined in the Action Plan.
 
During the talks, Minister Đorđević presented activities of the priority task from the Action Plan for which the Ministry of Defence is coordinator and rapporteur – Foreign, Security and Defence Policy, as well as the level of their execution. The Ministry of Defence was positively evaluated for the activities within its competence, as all obligations relating to the said objective were fulfilled within the time limits laid.
 
Also, the discussion also addressed the projects that the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces are implemented with the World Bank, as well as possibilities for future cooperation.
