Chinese Ambassador delivers lecture at the Military Academy
Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Lее Manchang has delivered lecture on "The current state of relations between the PR China and the Republic of Serbia and the prospects of further improvement of relations" at the Military Academy today.
The lecture was organized for participants of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies, as well as for participants in the General Staff and Command Staff courses. During his speech, Ambassador spoke on the size and importance of China as the most populous nation, which gives its mark in the contemporary world in many ways.
- China has made a great step forward in economic growth, and its experience is valuable for all the countries of the world. All this was achieved thanks to the unity of the people and abilities to wisely combine the civilization values from the Chinese tradition with the principles of socialism, Ambassador Manchang pointed out.
As a career diplomat with extensive experience who knows perfectly the situation in the Balkans, Manchang pointed out that he had learned a lot in Belgrade and Serbia, and he tried to show a part of his gratitude for the warm reception in Belgrade by his commitment to improving the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
At the end of the lecture, the Chinese ambassador said that the relations between China and Serbia are based on the principles of peaceful co-existence of all countries of the world, as well as on the foreign policy principles that are advocated by both countries. According to him, this is the most effective foreign policy that will lead to a significant development potential for mutual cooperation.
