Competitions for admission to military schools
Competition for admission of students to Military High School is open from the 1st February and lasts until 15th March 2017. The Military High School receives 100 students.
Competitions for Military Academy, Faculty of Medicine of the Military Medical Academy and Secondary Vocational Training School will be open from 13th February and will last until 31st March.
Boys and girls who wish to apply for admission to military schools need to submit applications in the centres of the Ministry of Defence in the territory of their permanent residence on time. The application should be accompanied by the necessary documentation.
During the competition, every Saturday, the Military Academy and the Military High School will organise "Open Doors" campaign. Then all those interested will be able to visit these schools and get acquainted first hand with their capacities and capabilities, while their staff will provide all necessary information about the competition and the conditions of life and work.
During the training, students and cadets are provided with free accommodation and meals at boarding schools of the Military Academy and the Military High School, as well as all the educational literature, facilities of the Sports Centre, library, Internet centre.
Upon graduation, cadets acquire higher education and professional title prescribed for by accredited study programmes. After successful completion of education at the Military Academy and the MMA Faculty of Medicine the graduates start their military career and are promoted to the rank of second lieutenant of the relevant branch - service.

During the competition, the teams of military schools will visit schools throughout Serbia where they will speak about the conditions and benefits of education.

• On 20th February 2017, Vladimirci, in the hall of Posavo Tamnava secondary school, starting at 10:30 am and Šabac, in the hall of Šabac High School, starting at 1:00 pm
• On 22nd February 2017, Ub, in the hall of the Technical School at 10:30 am, and Valjevo, in the hall of the Technical School, beginning at 1:30 pm
• On 24th February 2017, Čačak, in the hall of Dr Vojislav Vučković music school, starting at 11.30 am, Gornji Milanovac, in the hall of Takovski ustanak High School, starting at 1:30 pm
• On 27th February 2017, Arilje, in the hall of the Municipality of Arilje, starting at 12:00 and Požega, at the cinema hall of the Cultural Centre Požega, starting at 2:00 pm
• On 28th February 2017, Prijepolje, at the hall of the High School, starting at 10:30 am, and Priboj, in the hall of the High School, starting at 1.00 pm;
