Welcoming peacekeepers from the Central African Republic



The members of the fourth contingent of the Serbian Armed Forces who have been engaged during the previous six months in the medical care of the personnel in the UN mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) arrived in Belgrade last night.

At Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport the Serbian peacekeepers were welcomed by the Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Command Major General Slavoljub Janicijevic, Deputy Head of the Military Health Care Department Colonel Ugljesa Jovicic, PhD and Head of the Peacekeeping Operations Centre Colonel Milivoje Pajovic.
 
Early yesterday the members of the fifth rotation of the Serbian Armed Forces departed for Bangui, the capital city of the Central African Republic, where they will be engaged over the next six months in the UN mission.

Besides the members of the Serbian military hospital level 2, two staff officers and two military observers are also engaged in the mission MINUSCA.
 
The Serbian military hospital in the Central African Republic has been engaged since 11th December 2014.
