Defence Minister at meeting of MMA military collective
The Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic has attended today a meeting of the MMA military collective held on the occasion of the appointment of Colonel Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljevic, the Head of the MMA Clinic for Ophthalmology so far, as the Acting Head of the MMA.
Minister Djordjevic said that the appointment of the Acting Head of the MMA was the event deserving attention, especially taking into account the planned reorganization of the military health care system, the infrastructural reconstruction and personnel strengthening. The Minister added that the final goal of all joint efforts is that the MMA preserves the position it rightfully has in the country and the region.
The Deputy Head of the Military Health Care Department Colonel Ugljesa Jovicic, PhD, congratulated Colonel Vukosavljevic on the appointment and stressed that he advocated the joint work, which would contribute to better functioning of the military health care system and the MMA.
The Acting Head of the MMA Colonel Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljevic said that he was honoured with the appointment and that in the following period he would do everything, together with associates and the support of the Ministry of Defence, to improve the functioning of the MMA for the benefit of all patients.
