Expert talks with representatives of Joint Force Command Naples
Expert talks between representatives of the Ministry of Defence and representatives of the Joint Force Command Naples were held at the Department for International Military Cooperation. During the meeting, discussion was held about the cooperation under the auspices of the Partnership for Peace. The meeting was attended, among others, by Navy Captain Milan Konjikovac, Head of the Department for International Military Cooperation, Brigadier General Reinhard Kloss, Allied Joint Force Command Naples Military Partnership Branch (J9), and Brigadier General Cesare Marinelli, Head of NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade.
Our side pointed out the expectation that the meeting will significantly contribute to quality analysis of cooperation between the Ministry of Defence and the Partnership for Peace programme this year and planning cooperation activities for 2017. They expressed gratitude to the Joint Force Command Naples and NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade on the support given to the planning and implementation of the agreed cooperation activities. They particularly highlighted the importance of holding meetings at the expert level.
During the meeting, they emphasized mutual satisfaction with the cooperation of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and the Partnership for Peace, and assessed possibilities to improve the existing cooperation. They particularly highlighted a constant increase in the percentage of realization of the planned cooperation activities. This indicates the seriousness and quality in the planning and implementation of mutually agreed activities. Also, the meeting has contributed to defining the obligations and expectations that our party should meet as a host of the REGEX 18.
