Minister of Defence meets Defence Attaché of the Russian Federation
Defence Minister Zoran Djordjević has met today with representatives of the Office of Defence Attaché of the Russian Federation in Belgrade.
During the talks, both sides expressed satisfaction with the achieved level of cooperation in the field of defence, which is defined by the strategic partnership and excellent general and political relations between the two friendly countries.
It was noted that the implementation of exercises and other activities in the past strengthened functional and operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces, and that they will continue to develop and intensify all mutually acceptable forms of cooperation.
In particular, they discussed modalities for further enhancement of military-technical cooperation, through the implementation of joint projects in this field. They also discussed other issues of importance for the promotion of cooperation, with common consent to maintain the reached level of relations and possibly improve it in all areas of common interest in the period to come.
