Briefing for the participants in Strategic Management Course
Acting Assistant Minister for Human Resources Milos Jankovic, on behalf of the Minister of Defence, addressed the participants in Strategic Management Course.Jankovic introduced the course participants to the current strategic environment, the priorities of the defence system in 2017, defence policy and plans for financing the defence system. He stressed once again that the ultimate objective of the course they are attending, and which is conducted once a year, is to contribute to the system of national security, conduct of security affairs at the strategic and national levels, as well as to easier recognition and solving the current challenges in the field of security and defence through development of capabilities of strategic managers.
The two-week course for strategic managers includes two teaching areas: security and defence and defence management, which are realized through 11 thematic units with lecturers from the defence system, University of Defence and Belgrade University. The course is realized by Military Academy, more precisely the Advanced Security and Defence Studies and the National Defence School, and apart from the lectures, study visits to institutions that are of special importance for the national security system are organized as well.
