A hundred days of the Government
On the occasion of marking its first 100 days in office, the Government of the Republic of Serbia has held a press conference at the Zvezdara Science and Technology Park, today. In the presence of the members of the Government, including Minister of Defence Zoran Djordjevic, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic assessed that Serbia is "stable, on the right track, economically progressive, safe in terms of security and is one of the pillars of regional stability". He also added that "Serbia is firmly on the European track, while preserving its independence, sovereignty and good relations with all our friends".
According to him, the greatest achievements during the first 100 days of work of the government are fiscal stability, security and prosperity of the economy "in every sphere".
Speaking about the results in the sectors, Prime Minister Vucic said that the Serbian defence industry is getting stronger and stronger every day.
- The soldiers, as well as police officers, cannot boast about high standard, but the equipment and weapons are getting better and more modern – Vucic pointed out, adding that every day it becomes more and more difficult to undermine the independence and integrity of Serbia.
Asked about the biggest challenges in the forthcoming period, Prime Minister Vucic said that in politics he is "most concerned about the regional and global instability", and in economy, the growth of dollar.
