Meeting of Defence Minister with Chief Prosecutor of Specialist Prosecutor s Office for Kosovo



Састанак министра одбране са главним тужиоцем Специјализованог тужилаштва за КосовоDefence Minister Zoran Đorđević received today Chief Prosecutor of Specialist Prosecutor’s Office for Kosovo David Schwendiman.

The meeting was an opportunity for Schwendiman to represent himself to the Ministry of Defence in the mandate of specialist prosecutor appointed on 1st September 2016, when Specialist Prosecutor’s Office for Kosovo was formally established.

Minister Đorđević stressed his expectation that the work of Specialist Prosecutor’s Office for Kosovo would be unbiased and based on facts and that all perpetrators would be prosecuted and convicted without exception.

During the meeting the interlocutors talked about possibilities of cooperation in the forthcoming period. Minister Đorđević expressed his belief that, despite not so positive experience in reaching justice for victims of all sides, there is a spirit of goodwill from our side.
