General Dikovic with Belarus Chief of General Staff
Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff General Ljubiša Diković talked today with his counterpart from the Republic of Belarus, Major General Oleg Alekseevich Belokonev.During the meeting of chiefs of two armies, after the official visit of General Diković to Minsk in April and talks at Xiangshan Forum last month in China, Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff thanked once again the Republic of Belarus for efforts to defend international law and preserve territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.
Generals talked about current political and security situation in the region and the world, military-educational and military-medical cooperation, as well as preparations and training of special force and participation in multinational operations.The interlocutors expressed their satisfaction of the successful cooperation during multinational military exercise “Slavic Brotherhood 2016”, in which servicemen from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation participate, as well.
Besides today presence at the Distinguished Visitors Day of the exercise “Slavic Brotherhood 2016”, the schedule of the visit of Major General Oleg Alekseevich Belokonev includes the reception at the Ministry of Defence and the visit to the Military Medical Academy and the Military Academy.
