Meeting of the Delegation of the Republic of Serbia to CISM
A regular meeting of the Delegation of the Republic of Serbia to the International Military Sports Council (CISM), whose work was chaired by the Head of the Delegation, Brigadier General Delegation Sinisa Radovic, was held today. The meeting was attended by members of the military national team of the Republic of Serbia in marathon who recently participated in the 48th World Military Marathon Championships in Turin, and during the meeting they were welcomed by the Minister of Defence Zoran Djordjevic, who especially congratulated the members of the women's team on the historical success they achieved by winning the third place in team competition and bronze medal at that championship.The meeting focused on the conducted and the upcoming individual and team preparations of military marathon runners and the plans for the forthcoming period. They analysed the carried out activities of the Delegation of the Republic of Serbia to CISM in 2016, as well as activities from the CISM programme to be implemented by the end of the year 2016.
They also agreed the activities from the CISM programme for 2017 and analyzed the current preparations for the participation of the members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces in 3rd Winter Military World Games in the Russian Federation (Sochi) next year.
