Regular handover of duty of Military Intelligence Agency Director
At the Military Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, in the presence of the Minister of Defence Zoran Djordjevic, regular handover between the former Director of Military Intelligence Agency (VOA), Brigadier General Slavoljub Dabic, and Colonel Zoran Stojkovic, Deputy Director of VOA, was conducted.
Brigadier General Slavoljub Dabic is retiring after fulfilling all legal requirements. He spent more than 40 years in the military, successfully performing a number of duties and responsibly executing complex tasks in a time of many temptations, through which the military passed fulfilling its obligations to the people and the country.
Based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolic, on the termination of the professional military service and orders of the Minister of Defence, over the past month, Brigadier General Dabic was performing the handover of duties to Colonel Stojkovic, which ended today.
On the occasion of the retirement of the former VOA Director, a farewell ceremony was prepared in the Great War Hall, on 27 October 2016, which was attended by members of the collegium of the Minister of Defence, the expanded collegium of the Chief of General Staff and members of the VOA. On this occasion, participants were addressed by Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic, Brigadier General Slavoljub Dabic and Colonel Zoran Stojkovic, who presented the Director of VOA with a plaque of the Military Intelligence Agency.
