Defence Minister extends greetings on Armoured Units Day
I extend to all members of the armoured units my best wishes as they celebrate 31st October – the Day of the branch.
On that day, in 1914, the insurrectionary platoon, composed of two tanks, operated for the first time during the struggle for the liberation of Kraljevo. Continuing a tradition of almost eight decades, you are successfully performing the set tasks, achieving significant results in maintaining the ordered level of the operational capabilities of one of the most important Army branches.
Thanks to your professionalism, responsibility, many years of experience and professional attitude towards work, you managed to confirm the importance of the branch of armoured units and created good conditions for life and work of commands and units.
With the desire that you continue to successfully achieve noticeable results and thus improve both the armoured units branch, and the Army service and the Serbian Armed Forces as a whole, I congratulate you on your holiday.
