Marking of the 82nd anniversary of the death of King Alexander Karadjordjevic



Deputy Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy of the Republic of Serbia, Milan Popovic, has led today the state ceremony of laying wreaths and paying tribute to commemorate the 82nd anniversary of the death of King Alexander I Karadjordjevic in St. George church in Oplenac near Topola.
 
In addition to state and military honours, representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, Topola Municipality and citizens' associations determined for preserving the tradition of Serbian liberation wars laid wreaths on the sarcophagus of King Alexander I.
 
Organizer of the state commemoration ceremony is the Government of the Republic of Serbia – the Committee for preserving the tradition of Serbian liberation wars.
