Inspector General of the Services

Inspector General of the Services, as an independent narrower internal unit in the Ministry of Defence, supervises the implementation of the principle of ideological, political and interest neutrality in the work of the Military Security Agency and Military Intelligence Agency and their members, as well as the legality of the use of special procedures and measures for covert data gathering and legality of spending budgetary and other operating funds. He gives opinion on draft laws and other regulations and general acts within the competence of the Military Security Agency and Military Intelligence Agency, and determines the facts of the identified violations and irregularities in the work of the Military Security and Military Intelligence Agency and their members.
