Successful participation of the Serbian military representation at the World Championship in Marathon
Military Representation of the Republic of Serbia has successfully participated in the 48th World Military Marathon Championship, which was held in Turin, in the Republic of Italy.
Military national team of the Republic of Serbia formed a four-member men's team (Lieutenant Colonel Nenad Milosavljević, Aleksandar major Nesevski Captain Blazo Maksimovic and manifold Miroslav Markovic) and, for the first time, women's team (lieutenant Nevena Jovanovic, Natasa watershed Ćulafić and Mariana and Ksenija Lukic Čegar Bubnjević) . The leader of the delegation was Lieutenant Colonel Nenad Milosavljević, a coach Snežana Stančetić.
In the competition of 22 nations (10 women's teams) women's team of military Serbian national team has achieved great success by winning third place in team competition and bronze medal. The best time is running out watershed Nataša Ćulafić (2:56:39) and was ranked 8th in the world ranking, followed by lieutenant Nevena Jovanović which ranked 10th and Ksenija Bubnjević won the 11th place in the world standings. Best placed from the men's team was Lieutenant Colonel Nenad Milosavljević with a time of 2:43:00.
The success of the women's team at this championship is not a coincidence is the result of systematic work and long-term planning process, which is organized and supported by the Delegation of the Republic of Serbia in the CISM.
