Minister of Defence meets President of Azerbaijan
Today, the booth of the companies of the Serbian Defence Industry at the International Defence Fair ADEX 2016 in Baku was visited by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who, on that occasion, met with Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic.Minister Djordjevic, as the host, introduced President Aliyev to the supply of the factories of the Serbian defence industry and their capacities. The interlocutors agreed that the military economic cooperation between Serbia and Azerbaijan is a very important segment of the overall economic cooperation between the two countries. Emphasizing the business correctness of the Azerbaijani side when it comes to respecting the signed agreements, Minister Djordjevic said that the Ministry of Defence is interested in joint projects for development of arms and military equipment, taking into account the comparative advantages of the two countries.
Minister Djordjevic conveyed to the President of Azerbaijan, greetings of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, who was on an official visit to that country in April 2015.
