Course for performing duties in financial services
In the Military Academy, today, the Course for the duty of the financial service authority in the battalion-brigade has commenced, organized by the Department of Budget and Finance and the Military Academy – Department of Finance. The course is attended by ten members of the financial services from commands and units of the Serbian Armed Forces.At the opening of the course, Radmila Jagodic, Acting Assistant Minister for Budget and Finance stressed the importance of permanent professional development of financial services personnel in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and that its goal is the restoration and acquisition of new knowledge in the field of finance, for the successful performance of duties within the competence of the financial function in the MoD and SAF.
The programme of the course includes the following: basic assumptions about the financial system, financial operations in the Armed Forces, significance, principles, methods and responsibilities in budget execution, material and financial operations in the Armed Forces, financial and material records in the Armed Forces, planning of finances and PPBE system in the Armed Forces and salaries and fringe benefits in the Armed Forces.
