Minister Vulin: If Haradinaj-Stublla is ashamed of being a Shiptar, she should not be angry with me

"The Serbs are people who are proud of their name and they do not ask others to call them differently than they call themselves. If Haradinaj-Stublla is ashamed of being a Shiptar, she should not be angry with me. I will call them by the same name they call themselves. When they throw the word “Shiptar” out of their language, whatever they start calling themselves, I will call them that. Until then, I will respect their customs and language, and I will respectfully call Shiptars what they call themselves - Shiptars," said the Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin, commenting on the statement of Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla, who assessed the statements of the Serbian Minister of Defence as unacceptable and asked the international community not to keep quiet.

"Let the international community react to my statements, but let them also condemn the KLA crimes and demand justice for the killed Serbian children, expelled Serbs and burned monasteries, let the international community speak out, at the request of Haradinaj-Stublla, against the attack on the Serbian children in Donja Brnjica. Let them also react to the fact that the Association of Serb Municipalities has not been formed yet and that more than 1,000 Serbs and non-Albanians have been killed in Kosovo and Metohija since 1999, and no one has been found guilty for that. Let the international community speak out against Rama making "Greater Albania" and Daut Haradinaj’s statement that he regrets not having killed even more Serbs. Just let the international community speak out already, and let them start with me, but let them end with the KLA assassins. There is no agreement between two governments and two states. Serbia is a state and Kosovo is a territory under the administration of international forces and drug cartels. If Haradinaj doubts, she should feel free to address the UN General Assembly," said Minister Vulin.
