Minister Vulin and president of the Democratic Republic of Congo visit facilities of the Military Academy




Minister of defence Aleksandar Vulin and president of the Democratic Republic of Congo Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo have visited the Military Academy today as part of the official visit of the president of the Democratic Republic of Congo to our country, where the capacities of that military education institution were presented.
 
In the first part of the visit, members of the “Cobras” Military Police Special Operations Battalion demonstrated their skills in individual and group driving in escort, as well as actions of security in the event of an attack against the protectee.
 
The visit continued with a tour of the Infantry Armory classroom, where members of the delegation of the Democratic Republic of Congo were shown weapons and equipment used by members of the “Cobras” Military Police Special Operations Battalion in their missions.
 
This was followed by a presentation of weapons and military equipment from the product range of the Serbian Defence Industry, and today's tour ended with a presentation of the capabilities of the Pistol Shooting Range of the Military Academy, where simulation shooting and various types of live shooting were demonstrated.
 
The chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, assistant minister of defence for defence policy Milan Ranković, assistant minister of defence for material resources Nenad Miloradović, rector of the University of Defence Lieutenant General Goran Radovanović, commandant of the Military Academy Major General Bojan Zrnić, as well as commander of the “Cobras” Military Police Special Operations Battalion Lieutenant Colonel Goran Colić.
